The media wont stop with this victim narrative. Which then leads to people having this entitlement mentality were seeing now. All this approach does is create discord and division among political and racial lines. If we are to heal, we need to let go of the pain of the past no matter how horrific. Taking one-hundred percent responsibility for our lives is the path to freedom. Blaming others for our current pain never leads to healing, and that goes for any group that has experienced oppression, whether visible minorities, women, religious groups, the LGBT community, or the poor.Forgiveness is the very instrument that frees us from the pain of the past. It’s not an easy thing to do, but it’s the only antidote to pain.

[FONT=&quot]Victim narratives disempower and encourage hopelessness; that you have no power over your future and no personal responsibility for your actions. If you keep telling this narrative youll continue to wait for the government or an outside force to even out the playing field. You need to look internally; that’s where true change begins. Whitlock's piece on Haskins playing a professional victim was a crusher. Haskins will be stocking Biden's grocery shelves in Delaware if he truly blew the game off on Sunday to sulk
